This is a Poem from a facebook page I am a mother to an angel...it really made me think of my son. This is not my poem.     

I am in good hands

I found this, it's the words of an Angel talking to his loved ones

at a funeral service.

It made me think, "I know that's what my Angel Shane would have said to all of us.

I know your very sad today,So i talked to god about

your broken hearts. Here's what he told me to say....

My life on Earth was short and that is what makes it 

seem unfair.

But he needs me in Heaven and he gave me a set of 

... wings to wear.

Just wait till you get here and he gives you your

wings too.

And wait till you see Heaven and all the things

we'll get to do.

I know your hearts are broken because you didn't

get to hold me very long.

` I asked God to dry your tears and help you to

be strong.

He said he wil do that and in time you will

understand.

But until that time comes, he said he will 

hold your hand.

I gotta go now and help my angel friends,

you will always be my family and i was truly 

blessed.

You need to know that I am in good hands

and God will take care of the rest.

So cry for me if that is what you need

to do

Lend me your hand... A Poem I Love

My Dear Friend and Brother in Christ sent me this in an email. The words are not mine in any way. But I enjoyed it so very much I felt it was worth sharing with others. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did..the Author is unknown... Enjoy and be blessed.

LEND ME YOUR HOPE 

Romans 15:13 

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit 

Lend me your hope for awhile, I seem to have mislaid mine. 

Lost and hopeless feelings accompany me daily, pain and confusion are my companions. 

I know not where to turn; looking ahead to future times does not bring forth images of renewed hope. 

I see troubled times, pain-filled days, and more tragedy. 

Lend me your hope for awhile, I seem to have mislaid mine. 

Hold my hand and hug me; listen to all my ramblings, recovery seems so far distant. 

The road to healing seems like a long and lonely one. 

Lend me your hope for awhile, I seem to have mislaid mine. 

Stand by me, offer me your presence, your heart and your love. 

Acknowledge my pain, it is so real and ever present. 

I am overwhelmed with sad and conflicting thoughts. 

Lend me your hope for awhile; a time will come when I will heal, and I will share my renewal, hope, and love with others (adapted from the poem "Lend Me Your Hope," author unknown). 

The apostle Paul gives us the biblical basis for our comfort and hope: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ" (2 Corinthians 1:3-5). 

Prayer: I praise You for hope, Lord. Help me be a source of hope in all my relationships and circumstances today.

So many thoughts...

Its been awhile since I have blogged atleast here, I have done blogging on my website http://www.hope4acure09.com/ I found myself driven to a path of raising awareness as well as donations to help cancer victims and their families as well as CHD patients and their families primarily, yet keeping my heart and mind open that at times there will be others who may need lifting up from time to time and I am more than willing to help them as well. God has prepared me well as said in Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Now, I read that over and over. That verse was first told to me by a couple of Dear friends whom I encourage you to let touch your heart, Marie @spreadingJoy and Richard @mcprodigal on twitter they or on facebook Richard is here>Richard on FB and Marie is here>Marie on FB, I met them online during a dark dark time, my world was crumbling around me and they reminded me of that verse. I promise you God has prepared me more than I possible imagined.So, I started my website and decided that by helping others it would help me and because of my past, there are so many things I can associate with in helping others that while helping others, at the same time, I am healing my heartache as well, but first n foremost helping others helps me! If I can make 1 person smile or feel better by doing something for them, then I feel as if I have done just as it is said in Ephesians 2:10. I will, update this blog again soon, thanks for visiting. 3 Little Angels

While it breaks my heart to type a blog such as this. I do this because talking about stuff like this helps me heal and learn. And I want others to know about these "Three Little Angels" On July 28th in Meredan KS sadly the lives of the beautiful sweet little girls and their mother were in a bad car wreck. Katelyn Danielle Spencer age 8 and her sister Alissa Ruthann Spencer age 5  tragically died at the scene of the crash. Their little sister Madelynn Nicole Spencer age 4 and mom Stephanie were air lifted to 2 seperate hospitals.
Madelynn (Maddy) ppl called her was taken to a childrens hosp in KS, her mom to another hosp in KS.
My cousin (2nd cousin  you could say actually Chad, Stephs husband and the father of the  "Three Little Angels" is the son of my cousin Howard Spencer) Chad was rushed from work to find is world as he knew it had changed in the blink of an eye. is world as he knew it had changed. Chad went to the hospitals. Now out of respect of my family I am not going to go into a lot, what I will say is circumstances led to Maddy earning her Angel wings the next day. I can say that she lives on in many as her dad through all his pain and heartache let Maddy be a donor.

When I saw Chad and Stephanie, I simply hugged them, told them I had been where they are at. And that down the road should they ever want to talk, I am here for them, to listen answer questions help in whatever small way I can. I knew there were no words at that moment that could help them but to know someone had felt the pain they were and are feeling.(that of losing a child suddenly without warning) I reached out to them, they know I am here.

One more thing and that is these three little angels had a huge love for animals. They were involved in 4-H. The family ask that you donate to an humane society in your home town. The Challenge of Becoming a Non-Profit Org.

In previous Blogs at times I may not in your eyes have really been on the "HOPE44ACURE" theme, however, you would have had to followed me from where I was almost 30 yrs ago to now to understand why that is. A couple of Dear friends deserve my sub-title "your past will prepare you for you future". Those 2 people are Richard @mcprodigal and Marie @spreadingJoy. I won't go into it in great detail but in short, I lost my son Shane when he was 7 months old in 1987 and last December My Niece lost her son Jacob at 5 wks old. It was a dark dark time for me. During a phone call from this beautiful Southern voice Marie said "sweety your past n all you've been through, will help you now to help you niece get through this." As I grieved and processed everything I thought to myself wait a minute here...there can be so much more to this!

That was kind of my ahha moment. I thought, now look you work with Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society every year for your mom n sister and those fighting cancer and who have lost the battle.

So I began to think I do that once a year, NO Problem BUT what it I were to do something BIGGER? What if I were to put all my energy into something positive rather that say "I wish there was more that could be done." I was sitting right there! ME, I could do MORE! I could get busy and turn my @HOPE4ACURE09 on twitter into somethings that could reach out and help others.
Not just by tweeting and re-tweeting but by turning it into a non-profit organization actually raising money and using that money to HELP others. GIVING BACK!

But then I thought about it and Said to myself  "NO, you have people that can help you, ask for advise. They will tell you where to begin" And I was right my wonderful twitter family came through as they always have.
They have been so kind to offer guidence as to who to call, what I need to do, help with forms I have to fill out, and there are a LOT!

The one hurdle I now have to overcome AND I know my Lord and Savior WILL see me through it, Is that to get my non-profit statis sertification (501(3)(c) there is a $400 fee. While I wish I had that to just write a check out and pay so all would be good and I could be on my way, I don't. So, right now, I am doing the paper work getting all my things in order. I will them Pray to God that he helps me with the rest.

Continue to keep up with me as I will keep fighting to Keep Hope Alive. I will get HOPE4ACUE09 recognized as a non-profit org. Its all about time. I Pray your willing to take the journey with me.
